AFL Teams – First week of Finals, 2009 – Road to the Grand final

Well after a huge round 22, is the first week of the finals a let down? Maybe for Hawks fans like me they feel it is but 3 of the 4 games have the potiental to be rippers!
On to the teams:

AFL Teams – Round 22, 2009 – To Bump or Not to Bump, what is the Question?

Its round 22 and there is positions in the 4, home finals and the 8th spot still up for grabs. And tonight, some would argue (not I) that the future of the Bump and the game is on  the line at the appeals board where Buddy Franklin and the Hawks take there case. Strickly speaking [...]

AFL Teams – Round 21, 2009 – Nobodies Perfect, Not even a perfect Fool

Well the end comes to the thought of a perfect season for the Saints. Some say its good to have a loss in the run up to the finals and I don’t think the loss will hurt the Saints but the question that might have to be answered later in the finals, is if the [...]

AFL Teams – Round 19, 2009 – Suspending Betting? Really?

Tanking and player injuries has dominated the talk of the week (including on the Coaches Box AFL Dreamteam and SuperCoach Podcast

). Everyone, including the Sports Betting agencys are waiting for 5pm and the teams to be announced. Word is the Saints might have a few out. No word on if some of the injured from [...]

AFL Teams – Round 16, 2009 – Tanks very much?

As Explosion mentioned on Footytalk.com.au Podcast this week, Round 15 means talk of tanking. If Melbourne are tanking, just shows how bad they are going as they can’t even do that right (winning last two matches). But on with the teams…..well, when they come in.

AFL Teams – Round 15, 2009 – The Round After the Big One

Big week of footy last week, but the games go on.

AFL Teams – Round 14, 2009 – Cats V Saints is here!

Lets cut to the chase, here are the teams:

AFL Teams – Round 11, 2009 – Womens round

Round 11 marks the Half way point for the season and it also marks Womens round and the weekend that we celebrate the Queens Birthday. Melbourne are planning on giving there members the present of seeing their first pick in the Draft, Jack Watts. There is likely to be more chnages at the clubs, including [...]

AFL Teams – Round 9, 2009 – Indigenous round

Well its Indigenous round and we celebrate the great Indigenous players and what there amazing skills have brought to our game. Dreamteam and SuperCoach fans would have done well to pick up Aaron Davies (pictured) at the start of the season but who will join him in the Melbourne team to face the Hawks this [...]

AFL Teams – Round 8, 2009

Round 8 should make for interesting teams. Will rookies hold there spots and who will be out injured (Hodge already mentioned to be out for up too a month). SuperCoach and DreamTeam Coaches will be on edge to see if we miss out on the donuts that lots got last week. So I will get [...]
