This relates to price fixing between Pratt’s Cardboard company, Vissy and competitor Amcor.

If a press conference just held at Carlton, Chief Executive Greg Swan announced that Vice President, Stephen Kernahan has stepped up as Interim President until the matter is sorted out.

Dick made the decision so that his personal problems don’t effect the direction of the club that he has helped to turn around in the last two years. Both Swan and Kernahan say that the clubs focus has moved to this weeks game and that depending on the out come of the charges, Pratt could return to the club at that point.

Another disgraced former Carlton President, John Elliot came out in support of Dick saying that he should receive the countries principal of innocence until the point that he is proven guilty and that he has felt that its a case of tall poppy syndrome.

Swan also said that he didn’t see any reason that the Clubs new gun midfielder, Chris Judd, should not be able to continue in his role as Vissy ambassador.
