NOTE: IF YOUR AFTER THE ROUND 13, 2009 TEAMS CLICK HERE
Round 13 has seen Sydney St Kilda coach, Ross Lyon swing the axe. But who did it really hit and did it possibly just NICK one of the players. The press is a buzz with news that apart from losing Michael Gardiner and Schneider to injury, he has omitted Stephen Milne and Nick Dal Santo. Stick that up your arse Craig Hutchy Hutchison – AC re-signs
I hate to say I told you so, Nah, I don’t! Back in April I raved on about h
ow stupid Craig Hutchison was for even brining up the same tired old line about how Hawthorn coach, Alastair Clarkson was unsigned and was he worried. I put forward that it was the same situation as 2/3 years ago when he was last out of contract and he would be re-signed in his own good time.
Well surprise surprise, only to Hutchy that is, well and maybe the sheeple in the media (including Patrick Smith), I get a Facebook event invite from Hawka (yes, Hawka the hawks mascot who is the face of the Hawks on Facebook) to the re-signing of Clarko. And here is the announcement:
Hawthorn Football Club senior coach Alastair Clarkson has put pen to paper on a new three year contract, as the Club continues to re-establish itself as one of the AFLs premier clubs. The contract was finalised behind closed doors today at Waverley Park, with Club President, Jeff Kennett, happy to confirm the news.

Congrats to AC, Jeff Kennett, the Hawks Committee, the Footy Department and the players. This is great news for the club that they have the best coach in the AFL locked away for 3 years and now we can concentrate on moving towards our (I am a bias Hawks Fan) 10th Flag!
