AFL Teams – Round 17, 2009 – Grand Final Replay (I hope)!
Big round of footy with Hawks V Cats, Dogs V Saints and Blues v Pies. Melbourne have 5 of their big names out. Is it a case of Tanks very much?
AFL Teams – Round 14, 2009 – Cats V Saints is here!
Lets cut to the chase, here are the teams:
Mike Sheahan’s Top 50
The Herald Sun released Mike Sheahan’s Top 50 players. This is his Preseason list where he try’s to predict who will have a great year. This list doesn’t have players under an injury cloud (probably the reason Trent Croad didn’t make the list). At a quick look at the list, it looks pretty good. Its hard to argue with Ablett at number 1, especially after his preseason form. Judd like wise and even after one preseason game, Buddy looks like carrying the injury riddled Hawks in the first month or so of the season. On a personal note, I am stoked that Mike recognised the ablilitys of Grant Birchall by putting him in at 49, Full list below:

MMM – The Molly Plan for Trade and drafting in the AFL
Its been a while since the last show and so I started off going through the results of the 2008 finals and looking back at the Brownlow winner, Adam Cooney and the Grand Finalist, Geelong and Hawthorn. The Premiership cup was raised be Sam Mitchell and Alastair Clarkson of the Mighty Hawks.
I then discussed trade week. The rant of the show was saved for my ideas on how to get Trade week to work (starting with extending it longer then a week).
