Week two had some more upsets but a lot of things went to plan. I may have moved my Hawks too far, but it probably factors in another loss to the Roos. They have a lot of injuries and their ruck is shot! The other big drop was Port. The big up movement is Brisbane. The thing I am learning with this is that it’s going to take some weeks to know what wins are good ones and which aren’t.
So again, did I get it right or not? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

| Ottens injury not as bad as first thought and should be able to cover him. Didn’t play their best vs a much better Richmond, but got the 4 points | ||||

| Two impressive wins. Any time you go to Adelaide and beat the Crows you aren’t going down in the Ranking. Will get more from Riewoldt in future weeks | ||||

| Hard fought win against the Roos. Brad Johnson in good form and ably helped by Hill. Showed they can win a slower paced game, too | ||||

| Gibbs is playing out of his skin, and number 5 aint too bad either. In some ways will need to wait till round 4 and 5 to prove they deserve higher place in the Ranking | ||||

| And now for the rest. Ran the Blues close in the end. If Bradshaw continues to fire and Rich living up to his award winning week, could have reason to stay here for a long time | ||||

| Held there spot. A loss to the Saints isn’t anything to be sneezed at. The biggest story for them are coming off the field with the Bock incident and injures too Knights and Hentschel. The good news is that they have the Dockers | ||||

| Like above, a loss to the dogs isn’t the worst form. Played very well. Campbell and Thomas are dangerous up forward and Harding enjoying his new role. Ziebell played better. | ||||

| Good Win against the undermaned Hawks. Jolly, Goodes, Kirk and Hall all played well. Injures could be telling though. | ||||

| Interesting fact had the youngest team on the park last week. Not time to hit the panic button yet but if they want to have any chance this week need some players back. | ||||

| If you’re going to talk tough during the week you can’t get beat by the Eagles. Need more targets up forward, Motlop can’t do it alone | ||||

| Suprised? No. We shouldn’t be (although I still picked them! Why? Why?). Palmer continues to impress but new boy Hill is struggling. Harvey says he won’t be dropped. We will see. | ||||
Interesting to see Adelaide and Brisbane in your top 8.
Brisbane have in both games allowed a huge lead by the opposition and while were great to come back, top 8 sides do not fall asleep like Brisbane did.
But who has done better? Sydney didn’t score for 2 qrts, Hawks haven’t won a game (with reason), WC got beat by Lions, Port got beat by WC, Bombers got flogged by Port, etc, etc. If you agree that Carlton are top 4 (at present) then the Lions got close.
Thanks for the comments. Keep them coming!
Agree its hard and I do not envy this (although sounds like fun) BUT Brisbane & Adelaide who both lost in round 2 in the top 6??
I just think WC could be higher than lets say Sydney who while played well against Hawthorn. did not turn up for the 1st quarter and went missing for 2 quarters against St Kilda. Were WC only went missing for one quarter in their two games so far.
