Molly, I'm a bit surprised about you comments this week regarding Didak. There have been suggestions that Didak gave false evidence to police. He stated, unbelievably, that while he was seated in the rear seat of the coupe, he had no recollection of the shooting. The police then discovered, by way of cctv footage of the scene, that the passenger in the rear seat of the vehicle was highly animated during the shooting. Alan Didak has been caught in a lie. Collingwood football club probably had notice of the incident and apparently did not encourage him to report the matter to police. The tragic consequence is that 6 days later a married father of 3 lies dead on the road in Melbourne. Meanwhile the Collingwood spin machine goes into overdrive, and the AFL congratulates them on the handling of the matter!!!
This is almost beyond belief.

Thanks for the reply. First things first, I recorded the show (or the Didak bit) before that suggestion came out. I also heard reported that just because he wasn't out cold doesn't mean that he didn't have any knowledge of the incident. If he drunk as much alcohol as was reported, I am surprised he can remember his own name!
He definitely was a very silly boy, but as someone said, it might be true that the shootings in the city might not of happened if he went to police and one father might had his life saved, but its probably just as believable that we might be now talking about one dead AFL player in stead!
I would like to think I would never let myself get in the same position but I think I can understand the actions if he feared for his safety!
We may truely know what happened, but lets hope that he has learnt something and becomes a better person out of this.
